There is no question that the top five should be exactly where they are, however there more?

1. American Football - started in 1869 by the National College league.
2. Baseball – Some argue this is the number one sport.
3. Basketball – over 300 million people play world wide and America started the NBA.
4. Hockey - Originally this isn’t an American sport, it is however a massive sport in America.
5. Golf - Well what made this big, let me think, oh yeah - Tiger Woods.
6. Wrestling - Depending on what type you think of, this is either very popular or only a little.
7. Tennis - This is considered by some to be very boring, but this has wormed it’s way into the hearts of many Americans.
8. Skateboarding - America launched this sport from nothing to everything, now being taken up around the world.
9. Surfing - The one true sport that America air lifted into greatness.
10. Ice Skating - A Bigger sport in America than you may have originally thought.
11. Boxing - This only really kicks off when there are big international fights.
12. Soccer – Has only just really started to happen for the Americans, but they are keen to push forward with it.
13. Archery - There isn’t another nation that has done quite as well as America in this area.
14. Volleyball - What a great sport, all you need to do is watch and your happy.
15. Cycling - A Strong and athletic sport, but never really took hold of the nation.

The name Callaway has become synonymous to the term Golf, Over the years. Callaway Golf company manufactures primarily Golf equipment: Golf clubs and Golf balls. It’s hardly surprising, given the fact that Callaway Golf is the best known brand for Golf equipment recognized worldwide. Their market ventures included sports such as callaway Golf apparel, footwear, timepieces, callaway Golf accessories, and watches, over time. Callaway Golf includeThe Odyssey brand, Top Flite brand and the Ben Hogan brand .

No one could ever forget how Mr. Ely achieved iconic status, or rather his first masterpiece the “Big Bertha”. The Callaway Golf Big Bertha completely revamped existing the callaway Golf club and set new standards for Golf. A marvel club at that time that showcase a 190cc steel club head that can hit the furthest and can hit even with minimal skill.  The big idea was a cheap wooden driver inspiration which used to make his design which would later be realized as the Callaway Golf ’s Big Bertha.

Callaway Golf: the Home of Large Bertha

Ely Reeves Callaway, Junior., the president of Burlington Textiles, was an avid golfer. While he player, Callaway continuously used wooden Golf clubs manufactured by a business called Hickory Sticks. We all have played sports at one moment or another in our existance, sport is cool, enjoyable, exciting and it gives you a great bout of a healthy body, mind and soul. But what are the most known sports to date? Why do people like them so much? Let’s take a brief view at the most popular sports.

Football
Probably one of the best known sports in the world, countries come together whenever a football match is broadcast. Whether it’s the European Cup or the champion’s league final, football is a truly fun game to participate in and too watch.

Boxing
We have seen some great boxers come and go such as Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and many more. Seeing two men stuck in a ring and throw punches is very entertaining, especially if they are of high quality. Although boxing is not everyone’s sport, for some it’s their whole world.

Golf
A game that almost anyone of any age can play. I remember visiting amusement parks and playing crazy Golf, the sport can be very relaxing and very exciting at the same time. It’s a bit of the opposite of boxing, in Golf you actually like to play the game rather than watch it on the television, which can be quite boring. Let’s face it, it’s hardly as enthralling as watching extreme sports performers hurtling down the mountain side on their snowboards is it?

Rugby
Another sport that is quite similar to football, a lot of people tend to support various rugby clubs and are keen to see them play every week. The playing of this game has exploded a lot over the last few years.

F1 Racing
This is still undecided as to whether it is a sport or not. When it comes down to it how much exercise can you get by driving a car or vehicle. There are a lot of people that do like watching F1, in my personal view I could not think of anything more tedious than sitting there and watching car zooming around. I would rather watch people going round the track on second hand bikes to be honest.
