Nowadays more and more people mistake digital Photography for classic Photography. People don’t always care where their pictures came from as long as they got them and some that own camera never opened them to process pictures so they can’t tell if the have a film or not simply because someone else gets the pics out. There are extreme opinions on both sides. The classic Photography adepts would burn the digital Photography heretics on stakes because they dare alter reality. Oddly enough, there are professionals on both sides. Even photographic artists and professionals can not agree witch one is better.

The traditional inclined person would say that everything about digital Photography is created to disguise and alter reality in such a way that you aren’t even permitted to speak out your opinions about that image. Of course, the macro function is subject of this affirmation, it and its blurring effects. The macro returns different shades of faded colors and objects, therefore if someone looks at that certain picture he will be forced to look at the center subject, as everything else is blurred already. Classic Photography militants argue this function and state that the picture can not be individually critiqued anymore, because it will transmit the same image to all viewers. Those who want to comment upon the macro-ed picture will not be able to create an outline because they are forced to view only the central piece. Some are even more extremist and even considered flash using a form of altering reality. They are actually referring to night shots, witch should not be taken at all if flash is used. These people consider that flash is another form of macro if used in night pictures, because the overall effect is so much alike.

The other side, the one of digital Photography loves, thank god for digital devices. They praise the macro as it offers them what they need: a picture with a visible subject. They don’t want different individuals to come and point out other attraction points in their image, they simply want everyone to see what they saw when they looked at a certain scene or person. And about the flash, some people laugh when they hear that … “flash is evil”.

Even if you might believe it, digital Photography could never ruin images. This form of Photography is not only easier and more accessible, but also let expensive and more versatile than classic Photography.. photo printing services
