On a daily basis, we brush elbows with stress. Do we overcome it or do we give in to it? How we react to stress determines its effects on us. Stressful thinking is often frenzied, inaccurate, and unreliable, yet many of us go through life thinking and behaving in stressful manners. We might think that our only recourse is accepting this kind of negative attitude as an unpleasant fact. We just don’t realize that we can get around the situation!
There’s nothing complicated about switching off your negative thinking. You just have to dwell in the positive.
Negative Thoughts, Positive Wishes and You
Negative thinking is so powerful that it can pull down your general outlook, as well as your physical well-being, mental wellness and social life. As you make the switch from negative thinking to positive affirmation, you gain the power to steer your life towards a healthier and more rewarding direction. With some effort and time invested from your end, you can transform your thinking process. Everything can start with a few words.
Tapping the Power of a Few Words…
When you first look at a bunch of affirmations, you feel like previewing a random group of positive but sometimes irrelevant sayings. If you look closer at each affirmation, you may find that many of them encapsulate the way you would like to think.
When you see a positive phrase that speaks to you, latch onto it and use it to extinguish the negative thought you want to get rid of. In essence, you will be replacing your negative thinking pattern with a positive approach. This is what positive affirmations are all about!
Affirmations are positive statements that stimulate your mind to accomplish all of the great things you would like. Words are so powerful that they can control our emotions and even move mountains. Whenever you repeat an affirmation with conviction, you can make such affirmation your mantra. You have the power to make your mantra come true.
If you are overcome by negative thinking to the point where you think no affirmation can work for you, don’t lose hope! There are many affirmations that can help you deal with just that! Using an affirmation such as, “Negative thinking is not my way of thinking” will give you the power to change your thought process and your life. At first, it will sound awkward. However, you’ll experience great relief when you succeed in flushing out your negative thinking by reaffirming something positive in your life.
There are many different affirmations to help you with negative thinking. Your affirmation to chase away frustrations and negative feelings need not be fancy. It can even be as plain as “Negative thoughts cannot enter my mind.”
Aren’t these too good to be real? There are many people who, just like you, think this strategy is too simple to be effective. You wouldn’t really know if it works until you try it. There isn’t anything that you will lose in the process, is there? Remember: nobody but you has to know. Then, if you find out that it does work, spread the word.
