Selecting a wedding gown is possibly one of the most exciting things for a bride to do. It’s one of the most fun aspects of preparing your wedding. Regardless of whether you know what kind of gown you want or not, it is a dress you will remember for the rest of your life. By having this at the forefront of your thoughts, it’s the section of your wedding that your wedding planner and you don’t want to sit around until the day before your wedding to plan. It’s likely that your gown will take about 4-6 months to arrive after you’ve ordered it. That means… Get started finding your dress today! You should purchase your gown early so that you’ll have plenty of time to get fitted and then have your wedding planner take your dress in for alterations before the day of your wedding. When it comes to your gown budget, make sure that you take into consideration things such as the headpiece/veil, shoes, gloves, jewelry, undergarments, and other accessories.

Make sure you try your dress on because they don’t look like they do hanging up! Have your wedding planner remind you of this. You might find that a gorgeous gown on the hanger might not flatter your figure as you’d hoped. Never choose a gown without trying it on!
