Although wedding favors may not be the highlight of the wedding, they are a detail which requires some thought and planning. Ideas for treats are generally plentiful so there are bound to be enough to suit your budget and taste. With this in mind, it should be one less item you have to worry about for your big day because your favors might just be a phone call away.

Flowers are undoubtedly one easy wedding favor you can give to your guests. Fortunately, as far as the bride and groom are concerned, apart from choosing which flowers to have, there is little for them to do.

A symbol of love, the red rose is one of the more popular choices and they do not require much preparation. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.

More and more people decide an easy wedding favor to give their guests is candy in a presentation tin or box. Some people now use a more convenient way to present candy to their guests. Now, how simple is a large glass bowl filled with candy going to be in the centre of the table?

You can then provide each wedding guest with a small bag and a note encouraging them to enjoy the candy in the centerpiece. All you have to do is let each guest have the option to take whatever candy they like and you won’t have anything more to do.

An alternative to using candy is a picture frame which can double up as a place holder just for the occasion. The only problem with giving photo or picture frames as a wedding favor is when you have to wrap each picture frame individually. For this to work you need to make things simple so why not save having to wrap the gifts by using them as placeholders; and who would anyone blame you?

An easy wedding favor idea that might appeal is to have the photographer take a digital picture of each guest and then present it to them at the wedding reception as they arrive. All the photographer needs to do is to have a printer with him so he can give each guest their photo before they leave later in the day. Everyone will appreciate this wedding favor as it is a reminder they can cherish for many years. If the photographer can arrange a slide show, the guests not only get a personal memento but they also get the opportunity to see how the photos turned out for all of the other guests as well.
